If you’ve had a year where lots of stuff has been put on hold. Plans shelved, vision delayed, multiple disappointments etc… If you’ve been experiencing a certain amount of frustration and tension, as you begin to see more clearly God’s plans and purpose, but your day to day reality is an experience a million miles from what you see in the Spirit. Then here’s some encouragement to take you into the Easter weekend.

When God presses the pause button, it is always about building or birthing something new. It’s preparation for a coming time of change, transformation and upheaval. A new level of challenge and equipping growing from deeper more intimate relationship with Jesus. Our God is rarely in a hurry, and he never works to our timescales, only to his own. We operate in hours, days, weeks and months. He operates in years and generations.

This Easter, it’s worth remembering that in the middle of the most pivotal events in human history, God pressed pause on his great work of salvation and took a Sabbath. Between Jesus death and resurrection, He rested… What an astonishing idea!

Here’s a spoken word piece all about that dynamic. We pray it blesses and encourages you all. Who knows what awesome new things God will birth out of our current pregnant pause…
